Background
The De Jeu Gabbro was introduced by Girard (1995) in sheets 23P04 and 23P05 to group sills cutting meta-arkose units of the Grand-Rosoy Suite and paragneiss units of the Akiasirviup Suite. It was extended by Hammouche et al. (2001) in the NW part of sheet 23P03. The unit was abandoned by Lafrance et al. (2020) as part of a synthesis of the Southeastern Churchill Province (Lafrance et al., 2018).

Reasons for Abandonment
The characteristics of the De Jeu Gabbro are similar to those of the gabbro unit of the Ralleau Suite (ApPral1). These two units have therefore been grouped within the Ralleau Suite.
