Erratic Blocks and Other Quaternary Symbols

Symbols in the “Erratic Blocks” section are used to represent field information relating to erratic blocks and glacial dispersal studies. “Quaternary symbols” relate to sites where information has been collected in the field. They are expressed on maps of surficial deposits as a dot and are superimposed on morphosedimentological zones.

The list of symbols is also available in PDF format.
